چکیده

Using the periodic unfolding method, we analyze the asymptotic behavior of a class of elliptic equations with highly oscillating coefficients, in a perforated periodic domain. We consider, in each period, two types of holes and we impose, on their boundaries, different conditions of Neumann and/or Signorini types. The limit problems contain additional terms which capture both the influence of the size of the holes and the effect of the conditions imposed on their boundaries. 2010 Mathematics Subject Classification: 35B27, 49J40.

Homogenization of a class of elliptic problems with nonlinear boundary conditions in domains with small holes

We consider a class of second order elliptic problems in a domain of RN , N > 2, ε-periodically perforated by holes of size r(ε) , with r(ε)/ε → 0 as ε → 0. A nonlinear Robin-type condition is prescribed on the boundary of some holes while on the boundary of the others as well as on the external boundary of the domain, a Dirichlet condition is imposed. We are interested in the asymptotic behavi...

On the Asymptotic Behaviour of Some Elliptic Problems in Perforated Domains

The asymptotic behavior of the solution of a class of elliptic problems modeling diffusion in some periodic perforated media is analyzed. We consider, at the microscale, an elliptic equation with various nonlinear conditions prescribed on the boundary of the perforations and we prove that the effective behavior of the solution of such a problem is governed by another elliptic equation, which, d...

Solving Inverse Sturm-Liouville Problems with Transmission Conditions on Two Disjoint Intervals

‎In the present paper‎, ‎some spectral properties of boundary value problems of Sturm-Liouville type on two disjoint bounded intervals with transmission boundary conditions are investigated‎. ‎Uniqueness theorems for the solution of the inverse problem are proved‎, ‎then we study the reconstructing of the coefficients of the Sturm-Liouville problem by the spectrtal mappings method.

The Periodic Unfolding Method in Perforated Domains

The periodic unfolding method was introduced in [4] by D. Cioranescu, A. Damlamian and G. Griso for the study of classical periodic homogenization. The main tools are the unfolding operator and a macro-micro decomposition of functions which allows to separate the macroscopic and microscopic scales. In this paper, we extend this method to the homogenization in domains with holes, introducing the...

Homogenization Results for Parabolic Problems with Dynamical Boundary Conditions

Abstract. The aim of this paper is to study the asymptotic behavior of the solution of a parabolic dynamical boundary -value problem in a periodically perforated domain. The domain is considered to be a fixed bounded open subset Ω⊂R , in which identical and pe riodically distributed perforations (holes) of size ε are made. In the perforated domain we consider a heat equation, with a Dirichlet c...
